After years having a print-on-demand store, I switched vendors.

So come check out my new location and products.

Inventory is small for the moment but change always involves some downtime and re-organizing.

In my store you will find some of our "Summon the Grandmothers" products, which is a call around the world for climate change awareness.

De's "Quiet Please; I'm Musing" coffee mug is online now. This is my favorite cup and you might enjoy it too if you are surrounded by magpies. :)

Vintage Women's Accessories Includes Scarves and Handkerchiefs

I have started adding some vintage women's scarves and handkerchiefs to my store's women's accessories. I especially like the scarf above. I call it the Gothic Ghost. I feel it is an interesting abstract in line art reminding more of urban graffiti artwork. The material is silk. This should be framed.

Littlemouse VQ re-opened eCrater Store for eCommerce

Currently I am busy re-branding and designing some websites and products but I have re-opened Littlemouse Vision Quest at eCrater to handle graphic work for the Internet and the selling of creative industry domain names.

Energy Booster - Sure thing as I sit here yawning

Moving furniture and boxes plus tools and supplies is not the way to boost your energy.
I'm exhausted but things are beginning to take shape and a few more days, I might have all the stacks of stuff tucked into their new order and be able to use my work table.

I have started listing a few things in my eCrater store. Always remember that I have three stores and if you buy out of any or all of them:

I do combine on shipping. That means I give back on the shipping when it is a combined sale in one store let alone add a few items from any of the other stores.

The good part is now it is a new organization process.

I'm working on two new stores. I needed to replace a Print-On-Demand venue and I picked Zazzle:

Sher2x4-Landing focused on social networks for the summer

Whether I am working in traditional fine art arenas or the more local Saturday in the Park arts & crafts arenas, I look to the past cottage industry for influences and to the arts & crafts industry to bridge the technique and material gap.

Many months ago I saw some info on a trend of making jewelry stemware markers. I thought this was a very trendy idea that non-commercial artists were promoting. I had no idea what these items would look like but I sort of filed the intro idea in my cluttered brain cells for another day.

Yesterday, I was out and I saw a commercial store box with these markers. I was not excited at all. They looked cheap. So now I am looking to do at least one set of my own and see what happens.

I realize I am going to need wire, beads, charms and a pair of pliers.

Watch for my new line this coming summer.

Past midnight and still no storms

So many storms that I actually find myself now working around the weather so here is a small alert: New items have been listed in the eCrater Store. Do stop by and check my inventory.

I've always gathered up tins because I just like to keep things contained. I find pretty tins along with baskets and boxes make a new and exciting electic decor.

In my shop you will find many vintage tins. I have just been collecting them since the 60s and even though I don't need them all I just can't seem to pass them up. I even swap them out - Put my supplies in the new one and place the older one online.

It has been awhile since I actively worked this blogspot but I have come to the conclusion that it is better to work with the things you have been doing and keep growing from there.

They tell musicians that it is the old songs in the songlist to play over and over because the song becomes one with the performer.

Once upon a time utilizing the Internet was limited to the few. As it has grown and grown, many individuals seem to not realize that there is a professional aspect to doing business on the Internet.

Small business owners need to be careful to engage properly in the Cyber Laws as well as Business Laws.

Citizen journalists need to be aware that professionally trained journalists went through courses on Media Law. Trained journalists know the boundaries on writing about events as well as the precedences on the law books. Journalists and photojournalists know the judicial rules for taking a picture with a person in the line of sight. Simple it is not. And when professionals publish those words or photos; the material is Intellectual Property of the ones who created them or hired them. And all of these things I type are covered under the Digital Millennium Act as well as copyright, trademark, and Intellectual Property.

Not always does one have the ability to attend professional schools to be trained.
The Internet allows access to professionals who are busy posting various words, videos, tutorials, podcasts, and images. Embrace the moment and engage in the thinking and educational mentoring. But don't copy or reproduce professional work.
Remember: Professionals track it all!

Today the first hurricane was reported in the Pacific off of Mexico. Hurricane Andres was a Catergory 1. 

This Art Trading Card (ATC) is titled: Louisiana Blues, for Hurricane Katrina. 

I did a lot of fund raising for victims of Hurricane Katrina at the time of the event.
